Lan Su Garden

I spent a nice afternoon with nhc: tea at Lan Su and a bit of shopping. The weather was grand; we sat upstairs with our tea at an open window (see Extra) with the softest breeze and did a lot of catching up. It's so good she and T are up here every now and again.
In the morning, we had a third painter come by to give us an estimate for painting the outside of the house. The take-away at this point in the process is that they each prefer a different paint brand (Miller, Sherman-Williams, Benjamin Moore) and slightly different methods of prep and application. I reckon it'll come down to cost and timing.
