Hello Robin.

A quick snapshot from the living room window after I had finished my lunch.  As the birds were hungry I shared my crusts.  (That’s high fibre bread, 50% wholemeal and heaps of butter and olive oil, so it is healthy for them.)
 
Busy day with getting our friend set up with his FFB and phones working.  A little man from EE came with the right test kit etc, and contacts in the right places.  I had a thought last night that the WiFi problem may have been the router having been used before and a different SSID had been used by a former owner.  No chance (or point) to check it out before the engineer turned up, but that was exactly what it was.  He was astounded that it had gone out like that – heads should roll!.
 
The engineer also managed to get through to the right person to sort out the apparent stitch-up I mentioned yesterday.  Fred had been given a bum steer, and all was in order.  It just leaves me to set up his pooter when the WiFi booster turns up, tomorrow we hope.
 
A quick shop prior to collecting our dinner from the chippy, then veg out for the evening.
