Upside down house

Tuesday 11th June 2024

I took Mum and my Aunt out for a drive today. We started with a trip up Portsdown hill, to the viewpoint where we used to fly kites. We then went down to Southsea, had drinks in a cafe, watched the hovercraft, played in the amusements and had our picnic on the seafront - in fact, the same as we did last year!

I was intrigued by this upside down house, designed for taking photos inside, which you would then turn upside down so that it would look like you were hanging from the ceiling etc. Unfortunately it was closed. Has anyone been in one? I've discovered there are others around the country, including in Liverpool. It is now on my list of places to visit!

After our picnic we went on to Port Solent for a view of the boats, then back home. We were able to meet up with other members of the family before our meal and then play cards again afterwards.
