Donnington Castle

Mum and I set off South to Gosport. We had a few short stops along the way to stretch our legs, including stopping at this castle. Mum made it half way up the steep hill. As we turned to go back down a young lady ran down from the top to offer assistance, she was determined to help mum to the top but we had to decline the offer. So nice of her to go out of her way to help though. With Mum safely at the bottom again I went back up to have a quick look around. It was a lovely view.

We found our Premier Inn and then went round to Mum's sister's house for a nice meal and a game of cards with family.
