Eyemouth Harbour

It was another nice day, but still windy and a wee bit chilly.  I pottered and generally had quite a lazy morning.

After lunch TT and I headed out, with a plan to go for a walk.  However, as we were driving down the A!, TT realised he didn’t have the tickets for the place we were heading to, so we quickly made another plan and ended up in Eyemouth.  We had a walk around the harbour, then headed south along the coastal/cliff path.  There was great visibility and we could see south to Lindisfarne and Bamburgh Castles.  After checking out a view to Burnmouth we took a path back into Eyemouth, making our walk circular, as we ended up back at the harbour.

We rewarded ourselves with ice cream, which was very nice, and then wandered a wee bit more along the front.  The tide was in, so we didn’t go on to the beach area.  We then made our way back to the car and headed to pick up some provisions for tea.  Once home TT was on tea – with a chicken curry and a veggie curry planned.  It was still a really lovely evening, so I popped out for a wee walk, then came back to enjoy a glass of fizz.  The curries were delicious, and I think I ate far oo much.  Later TT was watching The Living Daylights –the first Timothy Dalton James Bond movie.  I half watched it, but quickly gave up and went to bed to read my book, but fell asleep.

BB was out for dinner with some friends – his fellow house captains I believe.  Surprisingly he was home unexpectedly early.

This is Eyemouth Harbour, with Gunsgreen House in the distance.  The extra shows the rugged coastline.
