A Hobby I Enjoy...

Naturally my favourite hobby is taking photos and blipping them - but I guess that's taken for granted for Pinkhairedlady's MM challenge this week.

Another hobby is going for a brisk walk, which I do almost every day since I stopped regular jogging a few years ago. And most Monday mornings my walk is to Gosforth and back (about a 6 mile round trip) to my informal "GOMC" (Grumpy Old Men's Club), another sort of hobby where (along with some other retired colleagues) we put the world to rights over a coffee. This morning the topics ranged widely, including climate change, electric cars, nuclear war, families, council tax, etc etc.

So my blip is an action shot taken on my phone as I walked along, "putting my best foot forward" as they say (although the phone camera caught my left foot and my right one is actually the best but I claim poetic licence...I tried flipping the photo but it looked weird). And please note that the distortion caused by the camera angle makes my thigh look a lot more muscular than it really is!
