Corvids And A Chinook

I'd run out of wild bird food so put some wholemeal bread out for my tweety birds. Amazing how quickly the corvids homed in on it. I got the above shots of a jackdaw and a jay through the window.

The Chinook flew over this morning and came back this afternoon. I captured it both times.

It has been so unseasonably cold, windy and wet. On the way to the town this morning I saw what I thought was a girl with dyed red hair in a bun. I was wrong. She was wearing a woollen bobble hat! This afternoon I put Mishka on the lead and we went for a walk on the nursery. It soon started raining. I decided to shelter from the rain in the old Volvo which is no longer on the road. Mish and I curled up together on the beautifully comfortable, cream leather, back seat as hail pounded on the roof. We both fell asleep. It was lovely. :)
