A day in the life

Rec. and scythe job

Nothing inspired me to be outside in the cool and very windy morning, instead I continued recording a couple more of the Dowland songs I played in a concert more than a month ago. The songs didn't get recorded so I want to do it now. Four of the songs also has cello and base clarinet parts, my idea is to record my part so the other two can record their parts when they have time. One song left now, that'll be tomorrow.

The wind eased down a bit during the late afternoon so I finally went outside. There are a few areas where the grass really needs cutting, it's more than knee-high now. Up by the road, so the traffic can see me when I'm driving out from my small road, and down by my parking near the woodpile. The grass is far to high for a mower, this was a scythe job.
