Devil's Paintbrush.

It's been another freezing day. June has been so cold so far.  My old mattress has gone off with the bin men at last.  Glad to see it go.  Spent most of the day reading but did take myself into the garden in the afternoon and did some weeding. A bit of Devil's Paintbrush is beginning to flower outside the kitchen door.  It spreads like wildfire but it's so colourful  I'm keeping it and, as it's near the kitchen I can probably keep in under control as I go in and out.  Thankfully it's easy to pull up.
