Marsh Orchid.

Did a bit of tidying and went to Campbell's for cake before Andy came in the afternoon for coffee  and a gossip. Lots of grumbling about Westminster, who to vote for and how much better it would be if there was proportional representation  like Holyrood. My old mattress was put out close to the pavement for the bin men tomorrow.  Emma and Courtney came out with their dog and had a chat before going for their walk then Andy went home and I swept up the pavement and returned bits of  gravel to my parking area. after which I photographed the marsh orchid which birds brought in years ago.  It's in a very unmarshy area but seems happy  and looks as if there might be two of it next year.
