A view from Jeanneb

Quick snap

This was taken on our way into Bingley this morning. We were stopped on Ireland Bridge at the traffic lights. I spotted the ‘new ‘tree stuck in the weir, presumably recently washed down the River Aire in the latest unseasonable wild weather. I wound down the window and took a quick snap on my phone.
You can see it is still full of leaf.

There is a remnant of the two very large trees that were stuck here after winter storms. Most of have been removed by intrepid tree cutters wading into the water with their chain saws. Rather them than me!

This is all I have taken today.

Usual sing this morning with a new song for our Monday group - Move like Jagger/Jumping Jack Flash - which seemed initially quite complex with the three different parts but by the end of the session we were enjoying singing.

A group picture from Saturday night has appeared on Face book, ( just added it to Saturdays blip here) you can see me at the front, I am small but have been placed at the front two steps down from the main platform!
It was announced we will be doing a concert with the same  band again next year but in a different venue.
