Still

It's been quite windy for several days but this evening is calm.
Life has been a bit "windy" for a few days but tonight is fairly calm, long may it last.
I was leading the service at church this morning, not as tiring as doing the whole lot but worth doing.
Afterwards I came home via a friend's, she needed a bit of encouragement, and after lunch did some sorting out for the holidays. We have loads of maps and guides for the general area and had to decide which ones are worth taking with us, and it was a job to be done together.
This evening I decided a short walk would be nice, especially as it had brightened up a bit, so we went down by the ponds. In the extra is the bigger picture with the cygnets in the distance being escorted to their nest.
