A New Bed……!!!

And a very wet Sunday afternoon…..!!
She told me I couldn’t have timed it better …..to arrive home with a new bed for her just as it started raining…so she’s curled up and snuggled down on it since..!!
It couldn’t be more unlike June or Summer….so I’ve made my jam and a huge pot of savoury mince and veg that will do several dinners….its warmed up the kitchen…
Our Son went back this morning ….so it’s quiet and always a bit lonely when  they leave again…!
I’ve never really thought about how that’s exactly what it must have been like for my parents when I left home and went to work in Dublin….they must have felt loneliness too…..strange how everything continues to go round in circles…!!
