Enjoying the view

Okay, I am going to whinge about the weather again, but it really is whinge-worthy at the moment. The morning starts sunny and warm and you think what a beautiful day it is going to be, but by 10am it has clouded over and is chilly. We are nearly at mid summer and we still have not had a proper summer. I also think it is sad how the summer holidays only start a month after mid summer when the days are already shortening....

We had a lovely walk with Xena this morning, and here you can see Gavin and Xena enjoying the view from Esher ledges over West End common.

We had a light lunch at the golf club followed by 9 holes of golf. I played much better today, I beat Gavin (on handicap as he gives me two shots per hole) and was really chuffed to just miss out on a birdie on the stroke 1 hole. I won't mention my bunker shots today which were pretty disastrous! It was chilly though, I had a long sleeve golf shirt on plus a padded sleeveless puffer jacket and could have done with another layer too. I played with my new wood today and that went well too. 

My friend was very happy with the photos of Sophia, I have added some in the extra - it was hard choosing only 4 images as there were about 150 images from the 300 photos that I took.
