Dartford Heath parkrun

Perfect conditions for the lovely trail run at Dartford Heath parkrun.  A 2 lap flat course on good ground, well used by friendly dog walkers but few others. It was like running round a wildlife reserve, with a wooded area, where we had to look out for tree roots, and a heathland area. The birdsong almost obscured the sound of cars on the M25, but not quite. We saw a Kestrel,  a flock of long tailed tits, wild foxgloves and heard chif chaf. I chatted to a fellow tourist from Richmond who has traveled using his Oystercard to all the London events. I also chatted to a fellow parkruner who was in his 70s and used to compete with the British Athletic Team in his day. Fantastic that he is still running now. 

Returned home and decided to watch the Athletics rather than go to Soultasia.  They were exciting but without Katrina J it was not as good.
