Caerwys Agricultural Show

SATURDAY

I was out of the door at 7:30 am and drove 40 miles over to Birkenhead for today's parkrun. It was a pleasant course of two laps around the municipal park and I caught up with some runners who I had previously met at Greenfield Valley last year. The large number of runners (599) made for a slow and congested start, however I managed to finish in a time of 00:27:25 which I am happy with.

Late morning, I drove a couple of miles up the road to the Caerwys Agricultural show to look at the animals, competitions, classic cars and the events in the main show ring (see extras).
