Long road ahead.

We left on our trip to Cape Town today via the scenic R62 route. We travelled through the most beautiful scenery all the way to Calitzdorp. This was a quick photo taken when we had a coffee break and walk around for me. I find nowadays I need to take more frequent breaks from driving.
We arrived at our guest house in time for hubby to watch his rugby, only to be told the tv had no sport channels. We found out that a pub not far away was screening the rugby so we went there and had a fascinating time with the locals... and enjoying sherry and red wine next to a roaring fire. 
Tomorrow we will explore Calitzdorp which is renowned for its Port, and also wines.
