Rainbow

Today was another miserable day with strong wind and rain. Good news is that the rain tanks are overflowing, and hopefully the catchment dams will fill up too.
I had to go (reluctantly) into town to get bank statements for my visa, but the sight of this partial rainbow lifted my spirits. I find rainbows so special.
Tomorrow we leave for Cape Town. My visa appointment is on Wednesday the 12th. We are spending the weekend in Calitzdorp - we haven't stayed there before but it is evidently a lovely small town in beautiful surroundings, and with many wine farms to visit. So it will be a slow trip along the scenic Route 62, hopefully away from too much traffic.
