Caterpillar

I found this delightfully hairy creature on the footpath this morning - caught in a brief spell of sunshine.

Tentatively identified as an Oak Eggar Moth caterpillar…but I stand to be corrected :-)

It looks so much hairier in large.

The sun returned this afternoon and I was out in the garden…cutting hedges - yay!
