It’s Back!

My favourite fungus - the monster Dryad’s Saddle. The two large bits at the front measure approx 20 inches (50 cm) across in total. 

I walked through the woods this morning for the first time in ages - and found this fungus to photograph. It was quite dark (chilly too) so I used some flash (as I didn’t have a tripod with me) to get a reasonable shutter speed.

Later I caught the bus to Tesco at Seacroft to get a few bits - and some jelly babies from Poundland - they are really yummy and a bargain too!!

The bus back was crammed - lots of school kids heading to Wetherby and Boston Spa..several of them were reading from textbooks so I guess it was last minute revision before an exam…Geography I think!!
