Orchid Meadows

It's Friday so I just had to head over to the Savill Garden for my coffee and floral fix. I've never visited the garden at this time of year before, but with a membership card burning a hole in my pocket it was too good an opportunity to miss. It did not disappoint.

For me, the main feature had to be the meadow/grassland areas full of wild orchids, mainly heath spotted orchids. I often go on "orchid hunts" at this time of year, but I don't think I have seen so many. What a delight!
