A day in the life

Barley II

It seems the farmers are rather content so far with how the crops are going. The 24th of May, I had a blip on Barley from a field I sometimes walk past on my afternoon walks. I took a new one today because I liked the image of a green sea. We've had lots of sun but apparently enough rain too for it to get this far. Farmers are by nature sceptical of optimists and lots can go wrong, according to them.

I started walking in sunshine but once I got up on the plateau, I saw the approaching potential shower, I risked it and took the long walk and got home just as drops started to fall. Ten minutes later, the sun was shining again. A day in June on Öland.
