Daisy and beetle

Other than a walk with Xena this morning and grocery shopping, I have been busy editing photos today from the portrait shoot of Sophia. It takes longer to edit portraits than it does for landscapes, well I think it does so I am not even halfway through yet, but I am pleased with the photos so far.

This poor beetle on the daisy has the unfortunate name of the thick-legged flower beetle or the swollen-thighed beetle, I would hate to be called thick legged! But you can see why it is so named.

Tonight Gavin and I are going with Adam and Anna to see the play Stranger Things :The First Shadow. I did not watch the TV series, Adam ahs watched all of it, but apparently this play is one of the best plays on the West End with incredible special effects so as it was so highly rated I thought it would be good to see. I have read up on the TV show to familiarise myself with the storyline, although this play is the prequel to the TV series.

I must dash as I am getting the train in a few minutes time.
