Laughter and love

Today I became a member of Sculthorpe & Fakenham Methodist church and I couldn't be happier with my decision.  The love and support I've received since coming 3years ago has been exceptional and I feel blessed to have found such a strong connection with the less than 20 congregation. Mum became a member too and I chose 10,000 reasons for my heart to find, for our hymn, a strong and passionate rendition by the 13 of us to raise the little chapels roof! Powerful.
Rev Jonny made reference to my two sons??? It's because I call them my boys. He apologised, but we giggled and of course he knows I have 1 son and 1 husband!
I quickly said my goodbyes and headed back south in just over 2 hours...much better. Dumped all my bits in and went out to chaperone the two Essex Eagles Mascots, Eddie and Ellie, while FK was handing out 4's and 6's cards that the crowd like to wave when there's big hits in this T20 format.
It was a beautiful sunny day, but the poor mascots got so hot! We had a walk around the ground perimeter fist pumping, waving and selfies...not just with children! It's a lovely family atmosphere on a Sunday and the kids love it. I saw plenty of children from school who were surprised to see me in this position. I got to sit with MrK and the lads for a bit, then did another chaperoning bit with all the families who sit in an area actually on the outfield.
A good fun afternoon and a good Essex Win!
