Far above the World

This morning Biscuit took me back to Hyde the long way.

As the very touching D-Day Remembrance Service was happening in Normandy and around 80 poor refugees were being rescued elsewhere in the channel, the Bond villianesque billionaires space rocket was undergoing its 4th test to date.

In fact despite one of the rockets control surfaces being captured by one of the onboard cameras burning up badly on re-entry to our atmosphere, it was apparently a great success. When the cameras could no longer provide a picture, a computer graphic at the foot of our screens showed the craft tilting upright just prior to...crashing...ahem...executing a soft landing just as planned in the Indian Ocean, followed by a roomful of...stark raving Tesla disciples...whoops!...space travel enthusiasts...shouting "YEAHHH!!!"... excitedly applauding the conclusion of the hour long mission.

Elsewhere in space, Boeing's Crew Module successfully docked at the International Space Station after experiencing technical issues en-route.

Your Gal got very little sleep, being awoken at lunchtime to take youngest to an appointment, catching another hour on the settee before enjoying a salmon stir-fry for tea & riding back to work for another Nightshift.

Apologies for the sarcasm earlier in this blip. Normal service will be resumed soon ;-D

Xx
