Inchcolm

Met up with M & H at Waverley and we travelled via train to Dalmeny, by foot down to Hawes Pier and then via the Maid of the Forth to Inchcolm. The weather varied between sunshine and vicious squally showers, with a biting wind a lot of the time, but we had a good amble around the abbey. M & H went back on the last Maid but I stayed on for my first sleepover of the season. The sun came out, the wind dropped, and we are beset by eiders, swallows, oystercatchers, etc. This is the view from the sofa.
