A Meandering Life...

Daisy Cutter

If ever there was a plant saying 'don't cut me, I'm not really growing on your lawn' it is this one. I mowed around it.

I spent most of the morning and early afternoon at the Men's Shed. Not sure I achieved much but coffee and chat is one of the pastimes we enjoy.

Just before lunch we were visited by about 12 ladies who said they had made an appointment to visit us all the way from Cheshire. They work for the council and wanted to see how the Shed worked and discuss the philosophy behind the idea as part of their inclusion programme. Somewhere along the line the message hadn't reached our chairman but he was on hand to greet them.

In Extras I have added a grunge image of the Chairman's new toy. Where he obtained it from I have no idea but it is an industrial metal lathe with all the associated tooling. The image is of the internal cogs. I guess he can now get on with making the other train parts for the overhead railway...
