D-DAY 80

The nearest thing I could get to a white  rose, but  this is my very humble tribute.

I confess to watching it all on the BBC this morning and to having shed a tear or two as well.  It was the words of the veterans spoken by actors that did it for me.   Oh and the wee French Boy from a primary school and he spoke in perfect English - wow.  Very thought provoking and moving.  Current world leaders please sit up and take notice from those that know. 

Saying thank you seems so inadequate somehow, but it's better than saying nothing.
