Visited Mt Vesuvius this morning, a very impressive sight......hard to capture the vast expanse of the crater (especially on an iPhone!).

A 20 minute trek of about 800m made easier by the amazing views, brings you to the edge if the crater. It's enormous (about 500m diameter and 200m deep) the views across the bay are spectacular too, though it was a little hazy.
