What I've Done

By JohnGravett

A rather blustery day

We had planned to do another Wainwright walk today, but the rain was merciless and the winds up the fells were forecast at 50 mph, so we visited Debs Mum's grave near Annan, where the weather was forecast to be better. Lunched at the distillery, then took a walk by the river in Annan. We'd hoped to climb Criffel, but although the rain was lighter (and improved through the afternoon), the winds were still really high. The pic is a multi-exposure showing the wind on the day - I did like the movement not just in the tree, but in the meadow behind the hedge, and in the other trees.

Looks like Thursday might be an option.
