Wound up in Wexford

By Neatwithice

Planting commenced

Half of the first bed planted, with salvias and agapanthus (many of the agapanthus were small bare root plants with little or no top growth, so marked by little labels) before we ran out of energy and time.

Joe visited briefly to adjust the pond liner on the rill (it's been losing water on one side) and we asked him for some help in raising a support for some climbers - we envisaged tackling this sometime next week, but Joe was full of enthusiasm and will be back to do it tomorrow!

I had to leave W watering, to go into Wexford early enough to buy some thread to turn up new curtains for the lounge, and buy some post-crete for this project.

Then I treated myself to an unhealthy KFC meal before band practice.  Meanwhile, W has put together the rest of the drawers on the chest we were building yesterday.  Looks good.  Will allow some rearrangement of our storage in the dining room.
