Evening stroll

Market this morning to stock up on fresh produce: strawberries, melon, cheese, eggs, chicken. We bumped into S and T, so had a good catch up with them over coffee. Glad to get a table in the shade, as it's been a blazing hot day.

In the afternoon S went to pick up G from the airport while I cooked a chicken tagine for dinner. Once G had arrived, we went for a stroll around the vines (blip) -- it was a lovely evening. Leisurely dinner of chicken and orange tagine, cheese, strawberries, melon, well lubricated with wine. S and G are off to bed early as they are driving to Laruns in the Pyrenees for a book festival tomorrow morning.
