Past It?

I took a couple of painkillers this morning - they were required after all the hedge cutting.
Talking of which ... I finished trimming up the hedge on next doors side....but not until I had collected the cakes from The Larder, picked up Squirrel, then delivered the cakes to Jupiter. For the first time we actually had to use the entry system to open the gate.

A couple of bowls were polished and blanks were made from 2 of the bits of wood I got from the neighbour.

We had a very nice lunch at The Larder's HQ ... along with an update on the ups and downs of the charity as a whole.

We headed up to the dump in good time (as instructed) .... taking my photo ID and proof of residency - as required - and the bloke with the clipboard stood at the entrance to his hut, ticked a box (presumably at my registration number) and waved us in. Absolutely no checks done.
We were out before my allotted time had actually arrived.

It was then down to a shop to collect a piece of bedding SWMBO had ordered and home again.

By that time I had got an e-mail telling me my complaint had arrived at the Council offices ...... and another one to say that it had been sent to the appropriate department and they would be in touch at some point.!

Pictures taken were of the dead flowers (the ultra close-ups (3 of them posted) were taken by removing the lens, turning it around and holding it against the front of the camera) and recently finished wooden bits. There are 3 triptychs HERE.

Oh! - I nearly forgot .... I watched a sparrow having a bath on one of the lily leaves.
