……or maybe screwed it up? Either way, this was in tyre. I took it to a lovely local garage, where they removed it (quite a struggle) and plugged the hole. And all for £7!

It’s all rather pear-shaped in Plymouth. The struggle to communicate with my mum’s GP is almost beyond belief - in fact I wouldn’t believe it were I not personally witnessing it. She was discharged from hospital a week ago and has pretty much been left to suffer in extreme pain ever since. I could rant on but I won’t - except to say that last week I rang my own GP for something relatively minor and was seen the same day. I am very lucky but it shouldn’t be the exception.
