Little Willie

This bird may just be a little brown job (LBJ) to many.
To others, it may be a choice between a chiffchaff and a willow warbler.
In this instance, the subject was captured in full song, so there is no doubt at all about its identity.  It was a willow warbler, Phylloscopus trochilus, singing his heart out.

I had actually gone out on a bug hunt, specifically, for scorpion flies.  I found two of them but was unable to photograph either so this has become my blip.  Probably a more interesting subject for most of you.

I'll try again tomorrow for the scorpion flies.
