Quod oculus meus videt

Osteospermum

Not the greatest day's weather.  It started raining mid-morning and but for a short interlude mid afternoon, it continued into the evening.

I'd gone to the Karcher Service Centre in Wolverhampton because our steamer was constantly shorting out.  The advice was that the probable cause is corrosion of the water tank causing a short.  The prognosis was terminal.  If you have a steamer, don't screw the valve back on once you've emptied it at the end of its use.  It's much better to leave it off which allows the water in the tank to evaporate and prevents the corrosion taking place.  Of course it might also be helpful if the tank was made of something that doesn't corrode!

There was a brief moment in the afternoon when the sun came out and without anything else photographed, I grabbed the macro lens and took this osteospermum recently planted in a pot.
