Today’s tenors

Usually we have 10 or 11 tenors at our village choir, including 2 or 3 men. It’s now the holiday period and the tenors were depleted. Two of those shown are really altos…..

We had about 6 visitors who came along for one of our summer events, where we have a guest conductor. Today it was Len Young, well known for his work at Queen Elizabeth High School in Hexham and for composing and conducting choirs. It was lovely to work with him.

He taught us three songs and we enjoyed them all.

It was a cold, damp morning, but the sun appeared this afternoon.
