JUST A BIG DRIP

Well a planned boring indoors ironing sort of day turned out to be a very pleasant day indeed.

I was just getting myself ready to do a pile of ironing when I phoned my Mum this morning, who said her, My sister and her boyfriend were coming over to Brooke Supplies today to go to the cafe and to get some top soil so we invited ourselves and said we'd see them over there.

The cafe was really busy, it often is on a Tuesday, but luckily because I knew this I rang to reserve us a table.  We had a lovely couple of hours in there with good food, good coffee and great company - what's better than that.

We had a little look around the garden centre and then came back to our place for a chat and coffee and cake (the cake being procured from Brookes).  A really lovely day.

After they've all gone I wondered what I could blip 'cos I forgot to blip something whilst I was out (I was talking to much) as it was now raining heavily I just opened the front window and took a flower of the yellow rose again, this time with her head bent low to shelter from the rain.

Oh and any fellow blippers planning on travelling on Saturday be warned that Dave day could end up being much bigger than initially forecast.  They initially said about 10,000 motorbikes, the BBC this morning said it was now around 23,000, coming from all directions of the UK.  They will start off from London (I forget the name of the place) and then proceed northwards with various groups joining them on the way.  Some will be travelling south from Scotland and will all eventually travel along the A590 to Barrow.  As much as I would love to see this spectacle I am going to stay put and watch it on the TV instead as I'm sure there are going to be camera crews around.

I do so hope that with that may bikers on the road that all have good and safe journeys as well as all other road users too and that they all have a great Dave Day.

That's all from me for today.  Do take care and stay safe and I will see  you all tomorrow.
