Life through the lens...

Bees

A day catching up on housework.
Managed to get washing dry, ironed and put away.
Not as warm as yesterday but did enjoy a few minutes sat in the garden having a glass of wine.
The wine was a gift from our youngest son for our wedding anniversary. 57th! Must have thought we needed a drink for surviving so long together!
We haven’t done anything special as have just come back from holiday and are off again on Sunday for a few days.
MrC said I had my present last week......A new Boiler. What better!
Good job I have a sense of humour!

The bees were busy today. Favourite plants this thyme and the foxgloves.
I think the wrens left the nest yesterday. Did see three brown blobs shoot out of the nest and over the fence into next door’s garden, and I haven’t seen mum and dad today.
A robin is still feeding young ones. Also in next door’s garden. Unfortunately the fence is so high I can’t see over.

I am going on a trip to Burnby Hall, near Pocklington tomorrow. Fingers crossed for a fine day although rain is forecast.
