Owl Be Seeing You

I spent the day with some of the "Photo Gang" at the Hawk Conservancy, Andover.  It was the first time I've visited as a member of the public rather than on a photo workshop day, so it was a entirely new experience.

We had a fantastic day catching up on news over coffee, public flying display, coffee, flying display ... well you get the picture. Even the weather played ball with wall to wall sun on one of the hottest days of the years so far (there was plenty of shade fortunately!)

The last main display was of the owls in the woodland setting. As usual for me they were the stars of the show (and also easier to capture). The intensity of the eyes of this great grey owl is always a good to see.
