I will pray today!

Today my daughter will have an operation.

I was in bed this morning thinking about her … and saying a little prayer ….to God .

For the first 16 years of my life I went to church, mass ,benediction, confession ..every week and then one day concluded there wasn’t a God though there may  be models for a good life.

Then I read Winston Churchill’s My Early Life for GCE . He concluded , after thorough study, there wasn’t a God but when in battle or time of stress instinctively prayed to God so that’s what I’m doing!!

This is my copy of the book with relevant passage .  I hope my school doesn’t want it back!
