In among the horsetails

I walked along the road this morning and couldn't help noticing the lush growth along the shoulder. So many horsetails, and the ferns and leaves were fighting for space. I remembered that I wanted to try a black and white negative filter again after clicking on the filter accidentally some time ago. I quite liked its result on this one.

Edit added later in the afternoon: Just watched a great interview with Robert MacIntyre from Oban after his win at the RBC Canadian Open. G has watched the whole thing, I've watched bits and pieces. So great to see a Scot win, and awesome that he called his dad to come over to be his caddy!  Both he and his dad were emotional, no wonder! What a special win to share with each other.
