Seeing Beyond Looking

By SandraSuisse

I confess...

...to never using my Apple iPhone photos here on Blipfoto, or anywhere else for that matter. It is a shame, as I can see the high quality of photos taken with mobile phones. There are several reasons (excuses):
I don't know how to transfer my iPhone photos onto my computer and only request the last ten or so without the machine excitedly trying to transfer all 4000 odd photos. I even looked for help on YouTube!  So until I find a kind and patient soul to show me how it is done, the whole process makes me a bit twitchy!

Any kind of advice or help is welcome!

There is just one thing that I do not like so much on mobile phone photography, I find the colours too exagerated: the blue is too blue, the green is positively technicolour and it makes landscapes look artificial and unnatural.

Yesterday, Jean bought me an extremely beautiful Hibiscus plant as a belated birthday gift. The journey back home was a little tricky on the boat, the metro and the bus and also on foot. Two of the fully opened flowers rubbed against the protective paper and their petals were slightly damaged, but the whole plant is full of buds and I shall soon be taking more pictures.
