Dorothy Clive Garden

Our first really sunny day, and I headed to a particularly beautiful Shropshire garden.

The Azaleas and Camellias have nearly finished, and it’s time for the peonies, perennials and remaining rhododendrons to shine. Astrantias are also developing beautifully.

It was quiet. There are lots of unspoilt wooden benches to sit and think awhile. Spectacular views. Unexpected corners. And lovely friendly people.

And they do a rather nice carrot cake in their tearoom.

My blip is of the waterfall in the Quarry Garden.
My extra is of the stag statue.
