Wound up in Wexford

A car full

Our "garden centre crawl" was cut short after just two Garden Centres, because the car was full.

Our first visit was to a tree nursery in Oulart.  They're only open on Fridays and Saturdays.  I wanted a yellow flowered Magnolia, and Google search had found their website, with several varieties.  I fancied Butterfly - a very deep yellow.  I had rung them several days ago, and was reassured the website was correct, and they did have it in stock.

And they did have many different Magnolias, all looking happy and healthy, but frustratingly, their labelling left a lot to be desired, and the chap helping us hadn't a clue which was which.  Luckily I found one tree with the remains of a broken label saying Butterfly, so we took that one!

We then went on to a Garden Centre just outside Gorey - one we hadn't visited before.  And they had lots of interesting and healthy plants that leapt into our trolley.  And filled the car!

So we had lunch there too, and came home.

We're awaiting a delivery from Farmer Gracy - once that arrives, we can have fun planning and planting in the three beds beyond the pond.
