Moved again

The nursing room is empty again!
My mom is returning to her former home, the one she left last Monday.

My conversation with her doctor was very intense and emotional yesterday, but very warm as well. The doctor completely understood my stress and sadness, and all he wanted was the best for my mom.
All she needs, and gets now, is rest, comfort and care. And the best place for that is her own home.

Arrangements have been made with home care and I am planning to work from her home instead of my office for the time being. She has a spare room available for that, so that should be possible. In theory. I'll find out how things will work out.

The moment she arrived back in her home she started clapping her hands, wanted a cup of tea and something to eat. The first since last Sunday.
She's tired, so very very tired.

My sister and I (actually we all, my whole family) are still having knots in our stomachs because of the whole situation, but it feels so good to have her back here.
We'll manage, don't know how yet, but we will.
