Flowers

Some of the flowers in the garden today:- Periwinkle, 4 o’clocks, Butterfly bush & Milkweed

I spent my morning out in the garden and then cleaning the back porch. I had to get rid of all the shedded cat hair among everything else that accumulates out there. That done, I hosed it all down.

While Kent was still finishing up cutting Runyon’s grass (after having finished ours), I drove to our church to pick up the Boston Butt we had ordered. The youth were selling them to raise the money needed for them to go to camp this year.

When I got the Butt home, still nice and hot, I began to cut it up and it just fell apart! Awesome! Just the way it should be for southern BBQ. That’s what we had for lunch and will have again tomorrow. I’ve also put three bags in the freezer for future meals. Yay!

Since we both worked hard, outside all morning, we have taken it easy this afternoon although we have gotten bed linen washed as well as regular laundry and some other small chores.
