Cream Tea and two Concerts

Charnwood Voices sang in the church of the Blessed Virgin Mary at Osgathorpe this afternoon on the occasion of Osgathorpe Open Gardens. Cream teas were served both in the church and outside at tables on the lawn. Quintessentially English!

Choir members got their cream teas for free. I even got a gluten free scone.

We sang twice for half an hour a time. I really enjoyed the afternoon. The photo shows Gail and Margaret enjoying their scones. The extra shows the nave and east window of the church.

It was a test journey for the new scooter. I wish I felt a bit more secure on it.
