There's a big (really big, like 45,000 people) boardgames event on this coming weekend in Birmingham and it would seem a good time to advertise games for sale to exchange at the event thereby avoiding the trauma of P&P. 

The other 44,999 enthusiasts think similarly so the sale posting lasts a matter of milliseconds on facebook, but it was worth a try.
