All Greek to me

When we were at the Greek Restaurant in Carlisle with the family a few days ago we noticed this plant just by our table. We were intrigued and, assuming it wasn't real, we asked the waiter about it. He said it was real alright and showed us the label - sansevieria cylindrica or Snake Plant.

We were still a bit sceptical but soon forgot all about it.

Today I remembered and looked it up. Yes such a plant definitely exists and is obviously well liked. However, I could not find one with orange tips . . . . until I did find one! 

I laughed.

Now, I know very little about plants but I should not have been caught out by this one!
